Default PVR Software

Hi all,

I'm currently streaming video to my TV using Twonky Server. This works
really nicely for content that I've mpeg4 encoded (and raw DVD VOB files).

What I'd like to be able to do is stream media through Twonky that I've
recorded on PC via a PVR. At the moment I'm using Windows Media Center
to do the recording but as is so often the way with Microsoft, they
appear to have created a file format (.wtv) that is compatible with
absolutely nothing.

I'm guessing the only solution will be to move to a different PVR
application. Are there any recommendations for one that uses an open,
standard compliant file format? Don't mind paying for it providing it's
not a ridiculous amount.

What about converting the .wtv files? A swift google search reveals
http://www.bestshareware.net/videogu...vconverter.htm, among others. I
have no idea if this is any good. I have an older version of media centre
that creates .dvr-ms files, which I process with VideoRedo.
