This looks like a very interesting development, but why on earth did they not include a hard drive? The system lacks the functionality of systems such as TiVo or Sky+, and the idea that it is limited to the capacity of a single DVD disc is ridiculous. They could have at least made the DVD recording element DVD-RAM, that way they would have had some of the functionality of a hard disc based system.
