Came across Fusion and the FVRT100 digital video recorder description on the
Web. Does anyone know if it is already available and how does it compare to
Pace?

It looked interesting because it also is supposed to have 7 day EPG I
believe. So is PACE still the only game in town when one looks for a
combination with a HDD?

the humax PVR8000T is due for release soon, but it's single tuner I believe

Spoke with guy at Fusion today.

He confirmed that the FVRT100 will be available at the end of Jan 03.

The machine will use a standard PC hard disk unlike the Pace Twin which uses
a laptop hard disk.

The machine's hard disk size won't be hard coded into the machine so
upgrades are possible although will invalidate the guarantee. The engineers
at fusion have tried it with hard drives larger than 40Gb and it has worked.

I presume that you meant the end of Jan 04? Unless Fusion have developed a
time machine too? ; )

With the amount of times that this piece of kit has been put back I would
not be surprised if it appears even later than January.
