I currently transfer anything I want to keep (music videos, rockumentaries etc) from my standard def Sky+ box to my DVD recorder by scart. The "Copy" function never seemed to work all that well so I usually do it in real time by putting the Sky box in "Play" and the DVD recorder in "Record" and that works well. So three episodes in a row now, I recorded EastEnders on BBC One HD. When I play any of these episodes, it's just a blank blue screen all the way through, but the audio is fine. today i noticed 222 comedy central had 2 1/2 men lists as HD in the epg. also the +1 channel was the same. also on 122 the HD channel the program was very soft for HD. more like up scaled SD. also for the last few days I have had sound sync problems on this set of channels . the SD is quiet and out of synch the HD is OK for level but out of synch. we are talking about around .5 sec out ....

you can log in via your sky account and tell your box to record programmes etc You can also watch programmes do you have to be on a sky connection for this or can you watch anywhere in UK For example

Hi My w7 has decided that in windows explorer it will not open a folder in the right window. It has done this all by itself and only for this week. Has this happened to any one else . Any idea how to cure it. It says no program associated with this file. But it is a folder not a file. If you right click and choose open all is OK. really annoying but not the end of the world. Gary

Hi all, I have little flashing squares of pixels appearing on the top left-hand corner of my TV. Strangely this only happens on BBC1 (via Sky) The TV has been returned for repair but it also happens on my other TV so suspect it may be a HD box/dish problem. Both TV's are Sony Bravias. First episode of the new series of Monk aired last night at 21.00 but due to recording two other programmes at the same time I couldn't get it then. I noticed it was repeated at 04.00 this morning so I set the box to record it then instead. If I set a Series Link for the 04.00 repeat, will it work or will it want to record the initial showing of the programme 7 hours earlier at 21.00? TIA
