Best quad LNB? by
Nobby
Hi Everyone - I'll try to be brief.
Trees!!!!
Getting in the way - so I've asked my neighbour if I can take a feed from
his dish. Obviously, I'll pay for the upgrade of his old LNB, but is there
one make/type of Quad LNB that stands out head and shoulders above the
others.

Kiss 100 is not going on Sky....Its been dead since Emup got their grubby mits on it! by
Loftus
It is a shadow of its former self.
When Lindsay Wesker & Gordon Mac run the station,it was fabulous.
Justin Timberlake & some of the other crap being played on the station
would not have got anywhere near the kiss studios.
Kiss 100 is now a poor clone of capital FM playing dire pop.
Listen to the original sound that was Kiss100 by retuning to 879 Solar

no satelite signal - HELP by
MarkNTL
Hello there, I am not receiving a signal on any channel.
I have phoned sky, they told me the usual stuff, turn power off, remove
dish cable, check the copper wire is poking through enough, re connect, turn
on.
Still no signal, then also told me to press ' 0 1 Select' in one if there
service menus, then reset
something.
That hasn't worked either.

Indeed. And a right nuisance it is too if you don't happen to have an
active Sky card and do want to view the BBC. This erroneous
"scrambled" flag on the main BBC channels (which isn't on the new
regional ones) is...

Sky+ Power Comsumption by
PhilÅ
Personally and through experience a Hard drive is stressed during its power
up cycle. The spinning up the drive to 7200 or is it 5400 in these things
will cause more stressed to the HDD than leaving it on all the time.
Also the heat decreases and increases to the box will cause more problems
than just leaving the thing on??.
I know people worry about leaving things with power attached overnight,...

Emailing your MP about loss of FTV service by

Well I got the warning banner for the first time last night (Solus

to my MP...
Here's how to email your MP:
1. You should only email your *own* MP, otherwise they won't read it.

Sky Remote by
Robert
I appear to have the volume and text controls on my sky remote control. I
have recently had a new Panasonic television TX28 PL1 but I think everything
worked on the remote after we had this. Do I have to reprogram the control
unit if so could someone point me in the direction of the details.
Many thanks

The manual says 60 watts max, 45 watts typical (whatever that means !)
I can't help you with the power ratings, but consider this: your timer
switch idea could conceivably cut power to the unit whilst it's

Astra 2D Reach, Dish Size and Spare Transponders.... by
Ed
According to
http://www.ses-astra.com/satellites/footprints.php?sat=15
Which is the Astra website so they should know, probably about half of
France could be able to pick up the Astra 2D beam with an 80cm dish or
less, and an 80cm dish really is not that big, particularly in a
country which seems to have more space for everything. Now I know that
there is a certain amount of adjustment that could...

Does this matter and do you know the date that old cards will stop working
