I get this condition at irregular intervals, and it corrects itself after a variable interval. Is it inevitable, dependent on occasional weather or atmospheric conditions, or is it worth calling out an 'expert' to see if anything needs adjusting? And yes, you've guessed it, it's happening now! I think it might have something to with the storms last night, but I can't get SKY a picture on my TV. The TV works with the DVD, video and normal aerial, but doesn't show the Sky picture. The sound of the SKY channels still comes through the TV and I can change channels etc. I have changed the scart lead to see if that was the problem, but no joy.

Hi My dad recorded the "Amazon Abyss" programme from BBC1 last night onto our Sky + box and had a problem when viewing the recording. The first half of the recording is fine and then for about 5 minutes on and off the picture/sound disappears and is replaced by green interference. At one point the picture goes pink for a few seconds. The recording then is fine for the rest of the programme.

I just saw a demo of Sky working on a 50" plasma in high definition (HD) and the picture was amazing. They were showing a football match and it was like watching 3D! New Sky+ receivers will be ready for World Cup 2006. Im going to be saving my pennies for a plasma and new receiver although I'll maybe have to sell the wife to help finance it.
