I guess it will learn another TV like a real sky remote but no blinking occurs when pressing red and select or green and select the red led stays on... I enter the tv code and press select - nothing. Is there a variation in the above procedure with these 'generic' sky remotes ?

If you occasionally get stuttering sound on a satellite channel (I mean, momentary dropouts of sound but no noticeable impairment of picture), and your signal levels look to be okay, is there anything you can do about it or is it something we all have to live with? Realigning the dish, or is that a waste of time if the signal levels look okay? How about the connections to the dish - if...

Hi, Someone has bumped my dish out of alignment and now my sky box says there's no signal. There is another dish quite close to mine so, before I go getting the huge ladder out, a general question; how precise does dish positioning need to be to work? I've seen many posts discussing the merits of replacing the original Sky+ drive with a larger capacity one.
