New to sky plus should I have to hit R to record twice ? First time the banner shows ?

hey I have moved to a new house. I would like Sky digibox + viewing card + (remote control + leads too) I do not want contract just want the free channels. The house already has mini dish. Anybody could help me where to buy all this for cheap on line or in Manchester.

Some yesterday got recorded some did'nt, today 2 I set did'nt record, is this bacause I only have 1 feed going to the LNB (still waiting for A 4 output one) or a faulty box ?

Hi, I just bought a 2nd hand sky+box (Amstrad 160GB), but unfortunately no Manual. Question 1/. Anyone know where I can get a manual? When I try to copy a recording from the Sky+ box to an external DVD recorder, I get prompted for a PIN.
