I think the DOGS should stay! It makes up for the crappy shortened 'hardly
recognisable' region names in the EPG

As others have posted the Regional DOGs are there to finally confirm the
postcode mapping being used by Sky. They are temporary and will be removed
pretty soon.

Well there are only a fixed number of characters available in the Sky EPG
for channel listings - and some of the smaller BBC regions have amazingly
convoluted names... On the whole I'd be happier if they stayed DOG-free .

from 2200 last night and 1100 this morning.

It is only BBC One Channel Islands that is not on DSat - all other BBC One
regions and sub-regions are there. (The sub-regions are Hull, Cambridge,
Oxford and Jersey) The Channel Islands should be up on DSat once the
equipment to allow for it is installed in Jersey and Plymouth
