Try removing the card, cleaning the contacts with a tissue moistened with
isopropyl alcohol or meths (DON'T use dry cleaning fluid or you may need a new
card) & re-inserting when card is dry.

Hello,

That's almost as bas as the rubbish NTL come out with like "turn the box off
for 20 seconds". That is the cure to all evils apparently, but doesn't
solve anything.

If cable boxes are anything like digiboxes or PCs (or Macs) then I
suspect that turning them off and then on again will indeed solve 90%
of all known problems.
