I had thought that the Sky's operating system didn't like drives with a spin
speed of over 5400rpm as it throws a wobbler due to it taking too long to get up to speed? -------------------------------------------------------------------- This footnote confirms that this email message has been swept by Norton AntiVirus for the presence of computer viruses. This computer is protected by GIANT Company's Spam Inspector --------------------------------------------------------------------- "skifan" wrote in message ... I had thought that the Sky's operating system didn't like drives with a
spin speed of over 5400rpm as it throws a wobbler due to it taking too long to get up to speed? On average the spin up time does take longer if the RPM increases. However you can get EXPENSIVE drives that are 15,000RPM that have spin up times lower than some 5400 drives! |
