On average the spin up time does take longer if the RPM increases. However
you can get EXPENSIVE drives that are 15,000RPM that have spin up times
lower than some 5400 drives!

However
you can get EXPENSIVE drives that are 15,000RPM that have spin up times
lower than some 5400 drives!

Spin up speed is just one of the factors that stops some drives from working
properly!

Not a good quality in a Sky+ drive. :-)
