so, it seems that for the past few months now, this has been a major issue.

However, it sounds like it is nearing it's end, since whilst watching Sky
last night, (incidentally, with a new card), a Sky ad came on, giving a
phone number to ring urgently if you do not have a new card
yet.......(sorry, don't have the number). Like the mock in-flight
announcement ad of old, but slightly different.

So.....a few more weeks per-chance.....

I expect that if you ring that number, you will get through to a droid that
tries to sell you a Sky sub.
