So, thanks for all of your thoughts, Casualty has finally finished so
time to watch Match of the Day off of the planner in HD ! Cannot wait
for "Strictly in 3D HD next week (NOT !)

Why ?

Are you not interested to see what it looks like from a technical perspective ?

Only to see if Chelsee or whatever her name is boobs "look" real - not
that they are, if you see what I mean....

I have Chelsea v Man City tomorrow night in 3D to have fun with.

I was far from impressed with the snowboarding that was on sky3D, but
then the whole way that these events are filmed is far from
"traditional" to appease da yoof with lots of shaky hand held images
and far too much use of graphics.

On the other hand the BBC HD 3D previews have been very good. The
tennis took some getting used to.

Having already been completely hooked by "Frozen Planet" in good old
CRT vision I was, not surprisingly very impressed - VERY impressed -
seeing it in HD.

NOT at all impressed with X Factor hence my back is turned to our new
toy and my earphones are turned up very loud listening to Lillie the
Pink !

Thanks as always for all the posts. We do have a Richard Sounds (Sarf
Croydonia) so I will take the good lady there next week for a look
see.

Will report back when I have settled down to my first decent HD footie
game or documentary.

Sport is just about all it's good for IMHO. There's SD and SD, and there's
HD and HD.
Quite often, decent SD is much better than crap HD, so much so that I can't
tell which is which most of the time but yes, HD for footie is terrific.
Shame I don't watch footie

Every programme in HD is improved, even crap soaps the picture is way
better.
Try watching the Discovery channel and seeing the massive difference
in HD.

If it only worked for footy, why have 90% of all stations gone HD? why
has freeview gone HD?
