Default Spare HD Box options?

I know this has been asked before, so I apologise for asking again,
but things sometimes change...

I have a spare Thomson Sky+ HD box, with new capacitors, and was
pondering my options. Are the following options still correct?

* Sell the box on eBay.

* Watch only the FTA channels (without a viewing card). No recording.

* Pay a one off fee of £25 to get a viewing card and be able to watch
FTA & FTV channels. No recording.

* Pay £10.25/month for Sky Multiroom which mirrors my existing
subscription (no HD channels though). Also allows me to record.

* Pay £20.50/month for Sky Multiroom + HD. Allows me to record.

Is there a cheaper way to get FTA, FTV, HD, and recording?

Thanks in advance.

You do realise that the £10.25 for multiroom (or indeed just recording!)
already covers watching and recording all the FTA/FTV HD channels
(BBC1HD, BBCHD, ITV1-HD, C4HD, FiveHD etc.).

From September Multiroom will cover watching SkyHD channels at NO extra
cost (ie. £10.25 will mirror the main subscription - INCLUDING all HD
channels.)

Try it without a card in, ( or present box with no card in) I think you
will find it sufficient, with the card of £20/25 if you buy one think it
might only give a couple or so more programs.

You'll probably get much the same extra programmes by paying less for
a Freeview box.

Is that for existing multiroom subscribers or just new ones?

Existing AND new! The Multiroom rules on the website will be altered to
say (as it should have all along!) that it will mirror any SkyHD
subscription on the principal box.

Expect official announcemnts within a few weeks as they normally officially
announce about 2 months before change.
