I understand that BBC One HD will be transmitted on Ch.143 from 19:00 today

Which channel will BBC HD be moved to??

BBC One HD will be available – from 3 November – on Freesat channel 108,
Freeview channel 50, Sky channel 143 and Virgin Media channel 108

BBC HD will be available – from 3 November – on Freesat channel 109,
Freeview channel 54, Sky channel 169 and Virgin Media channel 187.

PS Nothing on Freesat 109.

Try after 7pm.


....channels re-set OK here. Not sure if BBC HD programmes set in the
planner had changed to BBC1 HD (if appropriate) as I had none set, but
'live' channels 143 and 169 pointed correctly. Don't know when the
change occurred - hadn't around midday when I looked.

On a related note... I actually saw the new channel appear right in
front of my eyes. I was looking for it so that I could set a few
things to record on it that I'd normally record on BBC1, but it wasn't
in the list of HD channels. This was on the launch night (it may have
been around 7pm, not sure, it was a few days ago). I was paused on the
list of HD channels and suddenly the list disappeared, then a second
later reappeared, and BBC1 HD was there.
