Default New sky plus remote ?

Basically the old sky + remote was accidently chucked out .. so I was
wondering will anyone sky + remote work with my box ? or is that too simple
an idea ?

I've seen tons on ebay for around £10 or less and more .. there about £25 in
shops.

Thanks

All Sky+ remotes will operate all Sky+ boxes (and, unfortunately, Sky+HD
boxes). Old ones may not operate new TVs. Sky+HD ones will not operate
normal Sky+ boxes without reprogramming (a simple operation).

All Sky+ remote controls use the same codes - and will work with
a Sky+ (non HD) receiver. However, old versions may not include
the latest codes, to control latest LCD and Plasma TV receivers.

Furthermore, Sky HD remote controls can be configured to control
a standard Sky+ receiver.
