Default Freesat question

Hi
First post:
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I have serached and can't find an exact answer:
My sister has a Sky + account in the lounge. She wants to add a Freesat box to my nieces room. We bought a kit (dish, box and sat finder) from maplin and I was going to install it at the weekend for her.
When I went over today to look at the existing set up I noticed she has another cable running from the LNB into and upstairs room - I assume was initially for multiroom, although my sister does not subscribe to this.
My question is: before I install the new Freesat dish does anyone now if it is possible to get Freesat on the extra cable running from the LNB?
If so I assume its just a case of running an extension cable from where the cable terminates (in my sisters room) to my nieces.
I have already run a cable from the RF output to enable my sister to use the Sky + in her bedroom.

Many thanks
