Hello,
I have a relatively new Samsung series 7 TV model UE55B7000. I have looked up the codes on the web and used skys interactive service but cannot seem to find a code that will work my TV at all. My sky+ box is an original Pace V1 with its original remote but I dont think it's a remote version issue as the codes offered for the older remote versions seem to be the same as the newer ones. Anyone had any joy with this model TV? Regards Nick |

Later remote controls included additional codes (and some of the older ones disappeared). Codes for older remote controls (pre-version 4) required the last three digits only - but apart from that, none of the actual code numbers changed. You will need to try all Samsung codes. However, it is quite possible that even though you are trying the correct code, your old remote control cannot accept the code for a recent Samsung TV. The red LED should flash twice, if the code has been accepted. It doesn't flash, the remote control has not recognised the code. Does the LED flash, when you try to program the remote? If not, you will probably need to purchase a new remote control. You can purchase them from High Street retailers - or they are available on Ebay for around £8. |

Thanks for all you sugestions though. Is anyone out there using a new Sky-HD remote with a Samsung Series 7 UE55B7000. I was thinking of upgrading to HD and wondered if this problem will go away if I just get a new remote. |
