Default Has Someone Fed This Group A Laxative?

After being relatively quiet I had around 150 posts appear together,
starting with one dated 18/12/2007 timed 18:10:20 and all the following
posts timed within seconds of that one to the last one at 18:12:40. I
wonder if NIN had a hiccup?

I think you'll find NIN filtered a lot of spam from a well known idiot.

Mr 'MI5 Spammer' seems to be reposting contributions made to this, and other
uk.tech* groups made last year.

Mr MI5 Victim is on day release. In another newsgroup someone
mentioned he's now started to post old articles from a year ago.

The headers of the articles appear to support that theory.

Is it not coincidental that Virgin Net had a massive server failure
today? Someone has suggested the servers came back up with the wrong date!

Of the groups I subscribe to it appears to be only the uk.tech ones.

Definitely a glitch with the newsgroup.

I was the author of one of the posts, which appeared today at around
18:11.

When I checked, I discovered one of my contributions was dated December
2006. Similarly, recent listings include several contributions from
Jomtien - who disappeared from this newsgroup many months ago.
