Failed recordings on sky plus - why ?

Default Failed recordings on sky plus - why ?

Some yesterday got recorded some did'nt, today 2 I set did'nt record, is
this bacause I only have 1 feed going to the LNB (still waiting for A 4
output one) or a faulty box ?

Yes, given that the box has not been installed correctly it is highly
likely it won't work. It uses the second feed to record two programmes
simultaneously, or record one whilst watching another.

OK thanks, obvious I guess if you think about it, I plugged in my motorised
1m dish and this works for now though on ITV at least every minute or so I
am getting a very short 1/2 sec muting on audio ??

Might be stating the obvious, but try turning it off/on again at the mains
for 1 minute ?

Usually cures most of my 'box problems.
