I'm thinking of purchasing an audio/video sender (running a cable would be
very difficult) to transmit my from my Pace Sky+ box in the lounge up to my bedroom. The sender has an 'IR extension function' so that I can use a Sky+ remote control in the bedroom to control the Sky+ box in the lounge. However the Sender only works with Infra-red (IR) not IrDa signals. My question is - does my Pace Sky+ and its remote control communicate via IR or IrDa? thanks - Steve B. |

Dunno, but my Sky+ video sender works well and I can change the channel from the bedroom using a standard Sky+ remote I bought off Ebay. HTH Martin |

writes My question is - does my Pace Sky+ and its remote control communicate via IR or IrDa? AFAIK it's IR; IrDa is for cable boxes. -- Peter Pratten Please reply in group only |
