Default I would like Sky+ but.....

I thought i would replace my ordinary Sky digibox (with viewing card and
subscription to 4 of sky's "mix" packages) with a second hand Sky+ box.
I had hoped it would be a case of connecting the new box up and ringing Sky
to match the viewing card with the serial No of the box but i have heard
that i will have to call Sky to arrange an engineer to come out to do
something with the dish and obviously this will not be free.
If this is the case i might aswell go through Sky and pay £99 for a new Sky+
box.

Can someone give me the definitive answer.
TIA

sky+ needs 2 satellite feeds - if you dont have that already, you need it
adding.

Although it will function as a normal Sky box with only one input if you
only want a newer box without the functionality.

Definitely. This sum will include all the dish work needed.

At one time it was £99 total for new subscribers.

Even £159 isn't expensive for what you get.
