Hi,

The battery in my Sky Gnome has given up the ghost (It only works when
connected to the mains) Can anyone please advise where I may obtain a
replacement battery?

The gnome is manufactured by the nice guys at www.tvlink.co.uk - you
could try dropping them an email.

This question has been asked before (I can't recall if it was in this
group) - Google should bring it up. It wasn't suggested that contact be
made with the manufacturer, so please let us know how you get on.
I find it somewhat worrying that these battery packs are starting to fail
so soon (relatively) after the Gnome was made available.
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the NiCad pack with NiMH
cells?

You could send it to these guys who will repack it with new cells,
they did my dustbuster battery for about a fiver,
