If Sky+ is recording and there is a short power failure such that it
comes on before the end of the recording - Will a) all recording lost b) recording up to power failure is kept c) recording will automatically re-commence after power restored so only part during power failure is lost Peter -- Peter Williams |

Sky+ only saves a recording when it finishes normally. That's not what happens on mine - I've had a couple of occasions of having to pull the plug on the Sky+ when recording, and in both cases, the recording stops and then restarts on the same recording - in the programme when I watch it, it just jumps between when it finishes (ie, when I pull the plug) and when it restarts (ie, when I plug the box back in again). |

Peter Williams brought next idea :
If Sky+ is recording and there is a short power failure such that it comes on before the end of the recording - Will a) all recording lost b) recording up to power failure is kept c) recording will automatically re-commence after power restored so only part during power failure is lost Peter C) is what I experience. |
