I guess any quad band LNB will be ok for sky plus ? Where's a good place to
buy one - apart from ebay ?

For Sky+, It's not a quad-band, it's a 'Universal' four-output LNB.
(and you also need whatever mounting kit is required for the type of dish you have)

Only two outputs are required for Sky+, but each additional non-sky+ box
requires another (single) output.

As it happens, I have a spare, which you can have, provided I don't have to
shell out any money to send it to you. (I'm in Portsmouth).
It comes attached to a Sky minidish, which you can also have the pleasure of
disposing of. At the moment, it is just taking up space in my front room, due
to lack of anywhere to put it. A sky engineer came out to fix a broken hard
disk in the Sky+ and for some reason best known to himself (because the old
Grundig box was working quite happily with it), re-cabled and re-dished the job
too. Wierd.

Ok yes I mean a universal but they are termed quad band inaccuratly on ebay
anyway
