Antiference product changes by Bill
This is really for the aerial installers out there. If the new catalogue is to be believed the new TCX aerials from Anti that replace the TC range don't include Group B or Group E. Instead of B there is something they've invented called BK covering 21 to 53. The gain, etc, figures for the TC10 and 18Bs have been edit-copy edit-pasted into the new catalogue and applied to the TCX. Well if I've got...

DOG's solution suggestion by Rob
Nobody seems to like DOG's including myself. The only people who do seem to like them are the broadcasters. Why don't "they" set up the system to use one of those underused coloured buttons (maybe the green one) to toggle the display of the DOG's. That way if you are wondering what channel you are on, you press the green button thus displaying the DOG. Pressing the button again will turn the...

New Promax field strength meter by -
Supposedly being released in September 05, it's only 2kg and looks mighty fine. Supposedly the price will be around £1500 - £2000 but I think they will bump that up. http://home.promax.es/ftp/Zips/prodig5.zip

Nokia 221T Driving Me Nuts by Mr Flipflops
Ok, thats it, this Nokia 221T box is making my blood pressure reach danger level. I paid top dollar for this supposedly great box when it came out. The reviews were good, the hardware seems to be great, good connection options etc, but the software is the worst ever. Whoever wrote it, should not be employed by any IT company again. I've been using that beta firmware that was floating...

Recording on Nebby fragmented - happen o anyone else? by theman@themiddle.com
I've just seen the results of setting Heimat to record using DigiTV v3.2 running under XP Pro. It was broken down in to about 20 sections! They all fit together again with Cuttermaran if you have nothing better to do. Has anybody else seen this effect?

Poor reception due to tree by VisionSet
I have a large Poplar, 2x height of house in direct line of sight from all aerial siteing positions on my land to the Waltham Transmitter. The tree is approx 50m from the house. I live in Nottingham and the transmitter is about 25 miles away. Reception is acceptable in the winter, even in the wet, but when the tree is in leaf the reception is very poor to non-existent, especially in the wet. ...
