I would like to connect two TVs to Freeview boxes. Apparently I have strong
signal even in the loft and so there are two options offered to me for consideration a] A single aerial with an amplifier/splitter. b] Two independent wideband aerials In the first case the amplifier/splitter would require 12V feed from the PS in one of the rooms but this arrangement is "guaranteed" to have an optimum signal conditions. In the second case, signal should still be good but, with no amplification I get what I get. The big advantage of the second set-up is, as I see it, that there are no active components to go wrong and no extra clutter in the sitting room (and the loft). Opinions? Thanks Roman |
