Why do I not pick up any picture for channel E4 on my freeview box?
The channel is listed, but all I get is a no signal message. I re-tuned the
freeview box and still the same.
I pick up E4+1 without any problems.
TIA

E4 is on Mux 2 (64 QAM 64) with ITV1,2,3 and C4

I pick up E4+1 without any problems.
TIA

E4 +1 is on Mux C (16 QAM) with UKTV History

16 QAM is more resilient that 64 QAM

Does your freview box show the signal strength and quality of these Muxes?

Are you able to receive the other channels on Mux 2?

I had no problems with E4 and Mux2 generally for my daughter *not me*.
This started when ITV added extra channels. I improved the signal and E4
is now OK.

if possible, go into signal display menu, look at "quality". When
compared with other channels, this shows whether your SNR is good
enough to decode the picture. Just a marginal difference can make it
"unshowable".
