Is there any difference between the older spec'd Aconda 3981ZW and the
newer Mimo regarding tube and chassis's technology? I'm aware there are a few feature differences but I was more interested if the Mimo could shine in the same light as the older Aconda when pic and sound quality was of the prime importance. Would anyone rate other TV's above these in the same or lower price bracket? If so do they have component i/p's and/or capable of progressive scan. Steve |

Steve I've got a Mimo 28" CRT; the 28 doesn't have component inputs but the 32 does. The 28 also doens't have progressive scan, not sure about the 32. That lacking aside, the picture on my Loewe is jaw-droppingly nice; it reminds me of many years ago when I used to use a Commodore 1084 monitor as a TV. Insanely crisp, detailed and accurate colours. |

Sounds good to me. Certainly only interested in the 32" and can confirm the 32 does component in. I don't think any do prog scan except the Aconda and above (Articos) via a VGA pc socket. Not much use really. How old is your Mimo and what colour is it in? Steve |
