Does anyone else find this removal of words in various news items with just
silence a bit annoying. its like one of those quizzes where you have to
guess the missing word, in this case it was mostly **** and the f word I
imagine but really, what is the point?
There comes a time when a piece should be deemed simply unusable as the
meaning is completely lost. it seems quite common on early evening news
recently.

It's the same when interviewing someone with their face pixelated out, why
bother to film them.

The other issue is to record your commentary excitedly about something
without any cut in shot sof the event at all as my friend mentioned is done
a lot, if its only going to be a bloke or blokess talking why bother with
the visuals?

pixelated out with an actor doing the voice is even more pointless.

Also pointless is standing facing the wind wearing skiing goggles
attempting to
describe the weather in a hurricane, as seen on Sky News this weakened.
