NCIS ie the most recent series they are showing.

That episode has been shown before with exactly the same "jump back".

I was watching this on Channel 5 (not +1) and saw the jump back (about 4 mins
worth), slightly confusing. Thought the Topfield had glitched

However this is the first time these episodes of NCIS (Season 13/Episode 6:
"Viral") are being shown on Channel 5 and it's related ilk (Spike/5USA)
so which channel was it shown on before?

Do you mean when it was shown on UK "pay channels" (e.g. Sky) or when it
was shown originally in America?

Must admit to not remembering which "freesat" channel it was on, though
it was recent.

the worst thing here is that having New before the first showing and not
before a same-week repeat means that your PVR can't resolve a clash by
recording the repeat because it doesn't think its the same program

The PVR should be using the CRIDs to track this, not the name.
