Default Mouse not working?

New Sony Android TV, unbranded wireless keyboard and mouse. Eventually got
keyboard to work but the mouse does nothing, any suggestions apart from the
bin?

Try connecting the keyboard and mouse to your computer to see if the
mouse actually works.

Also, try cleaning the mouse contacts that take the current from the
battery.

Finally, if you have more than one USB port on your TV, try all of them.
My TV has two, and they behave differently.

Mouse works well connected to laptop. On TV Settings/Preferences/Keyboard
setting that to English (UK) got K/B working but there's nothing in settings
about a mouse, only the Sony touchpad remote which is very awkward to use,
LG does this better with their Magic Remote.
