D.Smith writes As a software writer, I can tell you that a receiver should be tolerent of any old crud being received. What did you need to do to restore the TV after the "crash"? Did you need to retune etc. etc. or was it just that it gave up trying to display the EPG? Mine's a Sony KD32NX100U and suffered a similar problem. Using the OK button to bring up the channel list (channel name and current program title) was okay. Using up and down scroll buttons worked fine too. Press the Info button and the full EPG layout appeared but blank (no text). The layout was correct, top-left box for current program description, top-right for small picture area, bottom half showing about 6 channel lines. The small picture displayed but the text areas stayed blank for about 5 seconds. Then the screen went grey, then stripy, then blue. After a further few seconds the original picture returned full screen and the EPG was gone. I tried this several times on two evenings last week. By the weekend it had returned to now&next and was working okay again. The fault looked like a reset or reboot condition to me. Hope that helps.... -- .........Regards R2 (Richard H.
