This is OT but perhaps someone can advise. I have a Samsung DVD reorder with
a hard drive, DVD and memory stick inputs/outputs. I have a video DIV X
format on a memory stick. I can copy it onto the SAMSUNG hard drive and play
it OK or play it directly from the memory stick. However I cannot copy it to
a DVD either from the memory stick or from the hard drive. After the copy
has been completed it says and error occurred restart DVD recorder. As I do
not understand these things perhaps it is mot possible to copy this format
to a DVD? Any advice appreciated.

Maybe the copy to HDD is still divx format, but DVD copies by default
are in proper DVD format, and the box can't transcode from div x to
DVD format.
