The other day while channel hopping I noticed that Dave was silent,
sloppy I thought, I've just hopped past PickTV, Really and Dave and
they're *all* playing out silent!

Given that I've just installed a new HDMI amp, I thought it might be
that having an issue, so se th TV back to playing sound through inbuilt
speakers rather than the amp just to check ... still silence on those
three channels.

A rescan of the channels usually cures this issue, although a factory
default may be required first on some TV's and STB's.

I've had this happen with my old netgem box. a retune fixes it till the next
time. I have a feeling its something to do with the signal tuning though,
but have never actually done the brain work to figure out if they are all on
the same multiplex. It happens with some of the radio channels from time to
time on the Goodmans box. and I rather suspect the vanishing AD content
might be something along the same lines. Might even be a bug in the actual
system itself that makes a flag get mis set.

I've never had it happen with this TV before (and I'm usually very tardy
in doing retunes) just checked those channels and sound is back on all
of them, I haven't re-tuned, so I suspect "their end"
