Default Best for HD Sports - Virgin or Sky?

So I have a nice shiny new flat screen TV, and I want to get a HD subscription (well I say I want to... I would prefer to get it for free, but freeview HD isn't much cop, and so I think I need to let the flies out of the wallet for once!)

In my local shopping centre there was a Virgin Media sales stand thing, and they reckoned that Virign was by far the best option for HD sports, but they, they would!

I checked he http://www.digitalchoices.co.uk/hd-t...e-checker.html and I CAN get Virgin cable services, and also Sky of course, but I am not sure which to go for?

Does anyone here watch sports in HD? What provider did you go for, and are you happy with them?
