We don't normally watch this channel that late, but last night, instead
of showing East Anglia News at the end of the news broadcast, we were treated to Meridian News, which told us what was happening in Kent, but not in Suffolk. Is this normal, or did somebody press the wrong button somewhere? We receive from Tacolneston. I presume that the "+1" was showing what itv had shown earlier. We might watch again tonight, just out of curiosity. I hope this doesn't mean we'll be seeing that TV fella from oop north that everyone seems to hate. -- Davey. |

I think that the live version switches to one of a number of a regional news centres. However the recorded version does not have this facility and only shows a single regional news centre. Interesting to speculate on how the +1 could use a recorded version of your local news, though. -- No plan survives contact with the enemy. Rather like a tape delay of 1 hour. Or is that not the idea of them? -- Davey. |

Is this normal There are only 6 versions of ITV-1 + 1, and ITV-1 Anglia is not one of them, so this is perfectly normal. Please look forward to the not too distant future when there is only one version of ITV-1 and ITV-1 + 1 with news from the South Bank. |

I am on the southern edge of the Norfolk region, physically closer to Bury St. Edmunds than to Norwich, and places in the next village to the south are in a different book, while places up near Cromer are in mine. BT wanted £10 to sell me a 'phone book for my near neighbours. (I got one free, eventually, after much complaining). -- Davey. |
