We had all this 13 years ago. UTV and STV chopped ITV 2 out of the DTT
mux in their regions, and replaced it their own local versions. I can't
remember whether they reached agreement for ITV 2 carriage by Nov 2001
when ITV launched on Sky's platform ?

To this day of course ITV 1 HD is not on STV and UTV area satellite EPGs.

With set top boxes so cheap though the local channel could come from
freeview and the rest freesat with a uk mainland post code, assuming your
bos is not hackable of course.

We do seem to have a great tendency in the uk to make a seemingly simple
system grossly over complicated for the average viewer.
