There's something funny going on... My recording of the third
episode of Public Enemies on BBC1 didn't record on Thursday night -
also on a series link and Humax 9200T (Rowridge transmitter). It
normally works fine but just occasionally something drops off (last
time it was the final episodes of The Killing but fortunately,
unlike Public Enemies, they were repeated shortly afterwards).

This could be to do with the fact that the Thursday episode was in
fact the second as the series
was put back one day due to the Stephen Lawrence sentencing. Did you
get the Friday third episode.

John

Ah-ha! So that's why the episode of Hustle that we sat down to watch
wasn't shown. Thanks.

Yes, sorry, 2nd episode recorded fine on Thursday. It was the third episode
that didn't record on Friday night.

I thought it took account of changes in timing. I remember when
Question Time was brought forward to 9 pm and there was no problem
with that. Well, no problem with the recording process :-)

It does. I had the same confusing problem with Public Enemies. Thought
I'd made an error in programming (Series link), but Friday recorded
properly.
