Once something is "out there" on usenet it's too late, if you send a cancel the server may not honour it, it's likely to be too late to prevent the message reaching other servers, they'll almost certainly not honour the cancel, neither you or silk included an x-no-archive header, which is only voluntary anyway, various search engines will index it, and anyone else can quote the original at any time ....
