Blimey; I knew the EE women were a bunch of ugly screeching harridans,
but didn't think they'd gone for full emasculation quite yet.

How come it snowed on Christmas Day on Coronation street?

Because it was produced in July and Manchester had a typical mid
summer day! Just wait for the December tropical productions.

How would you know though?
I can understand the elevation, but who could know the direction.

Incidentally someone near me reckons he can get acceptable pictures using an
old incinerator lid layed on its side if he points the lnb at it. of course
it has to be pointing in the right general direction.

Maybe I should suggest we start a business in novelty sat dishes?

We don't know where Wetherfield is, but we do know it's a short bus
ride from Manchester so it's pretty safe to assume that any minidish
in shot will be pointing to the Astra 28.2E constellation, which
from Manchester is at a magnetic baring of 144deg.

All the aerials on the Street are little contract types and are HP.
there is only one real contender and that is Winter Hill.

So all you need is a good shot with dish and an aerial, estimate the
angle between them and you can mark a fictitious town on a real map.

That's got to be more fun than the storyline Brian.
