FF 9.0.1 isn't great, I have to say. I've been using Chrome for the
last week. It's not so good with video on my machine as FF is, but it
hasn't been crashing.

One significant advantage of FF is that it doesn't use the IE
settings as Chrome does. Thus if you need to access a piece of
kit on a Co laptop via an Ethernet port that does not have DHCP,
running FF saves having to go into setup and switch of the proxy
server - and then back on again at the end!

I was just about to say that!

The position show for the Greens doesn't correspond to my experience
of the Greens in Ireland. Very authoritarian, ime.
Give them a sniff of power and the raft of legislation they introduce,
"all for the long-term good", makes the tories/lab look reasonable.
Unfortunately they really had a stranglehold for a few years here,
holding the balance of power in an unholy alliance.

Well that is not suprising since the above chart is for parties in
the UKofGN&NI, and the Green Parties in different member states of
the EU follow different policies from each other.

I think it would generally be true to say that the longer a party
remains in power, the more authoritarian it tends to become.
