A friend on mine lives one mile from the Bluebird Hill transmitter, he's
had a loft aerial for as long as he's lived there (14 years) so no idea how long before. Picture quality erratic, freeview prone to breaking up, he says neighbours also have problem. His signal strength/quality on a new freeview box shows around 50+%, I know a strong signal can cause problems but I would have thought the strength would have shown higher and quality low if that was the problem. Any ideas appreciated. Season's Greetings to you all. Geoff lane |

BH is on 24, 27, 39, 42, 45, and 59 at present. At DSO2 (June 27th 2012) it will change to 28, 39, 40 (HD,) 43, 45 and 54. A wideband antenna will be needed for present and post DSO. -- Woody harrogate three at ntlworld dot com |

Geoff lane The Transmission Antennas are in fact high up just along the M2, if he is on Bluebell hill towards the bottom they are actually hidden from direct view due to the steepness of the hill and the Woods. Normal Google Satellite view http://bit.ly/uRrA0v Google Streetview looking uphill in the direction of the M2 with M20 at your back. http://bit.ly/uTdTrH -- My Kindle/Mobile links page | Kindle | http://goo.gl/ySe0d Use these for low bandwidth | Mobile | http://KindLink.tk/ http://www.madge.tk/ -- A really badly designed website |
