Thanks for all the replies.

There was a major crash the day before yesterday, and the site was
down again for an hour. I was assured that this wouldn't happen
again.

Then yesterday, it was down again, and replaced by a page whose main
purpose seems to be to associate a major Jap brandname with a photo of
a supposedly pretty girl (though to me she's not very pretty - JANB,
Just Another Non-Blond). When I enquired as to why, it turned out
that, despite auto-renew being selected in cPanel, JustHost did not
renew my domain. This was the last straw.

So I've gone with 1&1. Hopefully the site will be back up tomorrow at
the latest. In the meantime, it can be accessed at:

Recently my site has been going up and down, normal speed and slow,

anyone have particular experiences, good or bad, of any of the
following?

Just reading about digitising vinyl - I was slightly amused by the Copyright
Violation Attempt warning which I assume is the result of your temporary
hosting.

Best of luck with your hosting change.

Yes, that's right! Until the renewed domain comes back up, all
attempts to download data files such as images will produce that
message. It's normal purpose is to prevent pirate sites hotlinking to
such files without crediting or linking to my site.

Best of luck with your hosting change.

Thanks.
