Was it something at my end or was some of the dancing "unviewable" through
pixelation?

I didn't notice that (except when a train went past), but the sound seemed
peculiar - almost as if was being picked up from the wrong mic. in a big,
echoey sort of place.

We had problems due to pixelation/partial freezes on Freeview SD from
Lancaster transmitter.

Switched to Freesat HD, but also lost picture momentarily on two occasions
during the programme.

Something was said during the show about technical problems. Affected the
results show too.

Are you sure it was DoI? I understand that many late night channels pixelate
parts of the picture to comply with license conditions...
