:I'm getting a little
:fed up with the simpsons only being recorded 50% of the time! If you set TV1 to a channel on a different Mux to the channel being recorded, before switching off prior to a timed recording, you have a much better chance of getting the other 50% !!! |

Why switch it off in the first place? Er, so as not to waste electricity? It gets incredibly hot if left on for any length of time... - Jim |

Er, so as not to waste electricity? 36 watts (maximum) and I don't imaging it'll use much less than that on standby. Standby mode stops the hard disk from spinning and turns off all but one amplifier. The processor and memory are still powered, of course. |
