Default Sony IDTV KD32DX150U "buzzing"

Can any owners of the above sony IDTV or other similar sony models tell me
if their TV makes a buzzing sound when turned on? Mine makes a buzzing sound
from the internal electronics (not the speakers).

It is loud enough that when I'm sat about 3m from the screen I have to set
the volume above about a 1/3rd to drown out the buzz. It is just loud enough
that I'm not sure if sony just use crap transformers that buzz, or if it is
a fault developing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Stew

I have a 32DX40. It buzzes from the electronics but where it is located and
at our viewing distance you can't hear it. Weird, I've had the tv for
months and it was only yesterday when messing around with scarts up close
etc. that I noticed. There were some Sony's reportedly buzzing a year or so
back in the newsgroups...a Google search will find them.

Surely not, you pay over the odds for a Sony brand name to ensure
quality.

Have to say mine is a very minor buzz. I was playing with the scarts right
up close.

Oh, that's a good one. You shouldn't make me laugh so much at this
time of night.

I sound like I know what I'm talking about, but don't
