Hi,
What would people recommend for a cheap, basic set top box? I'm not interested in fancy EPGs or OSDs, or dual scarts, or anything like that. All it needs to be is stable. Thanks, Joe |

All it needs to be is stable.
Most boxes have the centre of gravity safely above the base. I don't think you need to worry about this. Most of the recent boxes are pretty stable - I'd recommend a Setpal box
(Daewoo or Labgear) ,Panasonic TU-CT20 or TU-CT30 or a Sony . I have had twp TU-CT20 s one for eyar the other for 10 months - they are fast to change channels and very stable .
