... apparently that has been given the go ahead in the UK, but has to go to some european tv broadcasting something or other before they can move it if they move it to group A then i've got a full house! snip I sent Meridian an email complaining about this yesterday and they said they would pass it on to NTL. Do you know the european organisation that has to approve it? Maybe they are the ones to pressurise! |

Do you know the european organisation that has to approve it? Maybe they are the ones to pressurise! this is what was posted here a while ago... full thread at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...fe=off&threadm =3EAD4358.9030302%40dsl.pipex.com&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fnum%3D100%26hl%3Den% 26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26safe%3Doff%26q%3Dmux%2B2%2Browridge%26sp ell%3D1 maybe contact this Peter Madry bloke at the ITC who wrote this, maybe he knows..... his email add is at the end, let us know if you get anything Chris === Having said this, proposals to change the frequency of Multiplex 2 from Rowridge are currently being progressed. Channel 28 has been identified as a possible alternative to the existing frequency and would allow viewers to receive Multiplex 2 with their existing Group A aerials. Any change to a transmitter's transmission frequency has to be agreed within the UK planning system and must also be agreed with the UK's European neighbours. Currently the proposal has received UK clearance and is with the European planners for agreement. Until that is received there is no certainty that any change will take place. large wideband aerial didn't make any difference to me (in upton poole) ,
nor did low loss cable etc.. , all other signals are 5 out of 5 (well sdn should be next week) get itv2 thro the old cable point anyway so i can live without mux2! "Jaime" wrote in message ... Jaime Either or I don't mind! I'd go for both preferably. Although move to group A is what I want as it saves me risking my neck on the roof at some point to change to a wideband aerial. Jaime |
