Once LONDON goes digital?....

Sorry if I do not understand the question except to say ...
Analog switch off in the London region will have zero effect
on the teletext service carried by BBC World.

Technically of course you may well be right.

But,

1 They use the first 2 dozen or so of the
existing Ceefax news pages.
That easy source will be cut.
2 Once London does not have Ceefax
why should anybody else?
It may appear terribly old fashioned to those
who organise things. The temptation will be
to dispense with it.

Time will tell - unless you know better.

I have been watching satellite text
for some time. The euromillions
lottery past results are on RTE but
not on the BBC

BBC World (News) has Ceefax on
Hotbird, Astra 1 and Thor.

You can also get text in Romanian
French and German
